Monks Original Swing, the Chameleon machine And tanks were some of the most acclaimed local bands at a festival that, despite the weather, reemerged like a phoenix, making way for shows from legends like The fantastic Cadillacs And Suicidal tendencies, attracting audiences of all generations on this important anniversary.
Paola Navarrete publishes ‘Ram’
The Guayaquil native went to Mexico during the pandemic to try to produce an album and returned with a gem that saw him collaborate with one of today’s most important producers, Adam Jodorowsky, with whom we collaborate Chinese Bandalos, Jay De La Cueva and also for producing the album All flowersby Natalia Lafourcade, which won multiple Grammys. Paola developed a work that will undoubtedly generate much discussion in 2024; announced a tour of several Latin American countries and wanted to go even further.
There were certainly many more key players in terms of local sounds; However, there are always people who take the lead and serve as inspiration to improve themselves. Let’s hope that Ecuadorian music always wants to go further in healthy competition. (JO)
