Justyna Steczkowska is a legend of the Polish music scene. An outstanding artist and a great star, she often surprised the audience with the extraordinary atmosphere created during her concerts. Her album “Alkimja” it is a masterpiece in terms of music and composition. It contains songs sung in Hebrew, Aramaic, Ladino and Yiddish. The album refers entirely to Jewish culture and has achieved gold status. Of course, it is impossible not to mention also: “Shaman’s Girl”which went platinum.
The artist has many other achievements and has released as many as sixteen albums. In an interview with “Dzień Dobry TVN” she recalled the many years she spent on stage. The singer and composer is known for performing in fanciful stage creations, which are small masterpieces in themselves. However, such a selected and carefully tailored wardrobe may result in a small “technical” mishap.

In the breakfast program, Steczkowska recalled one such situation that took place in the middle of the concert.
Suddenly, halfway through the song, I feel my corset unfastening. It just broke in the back. I don’t know what to do, whether to sing or hold him. Everything is held in place by this corset, so suddenly I would stand like a half-naked girl. I sing here, I dance here, and my head works. I think I won’t be able to do it because this is the last stitch. It will burst and it will simply be over for me. Everyone sees it, everyone records it.

The artist decided that honesty would be the best policy. That’s why she directly admitted to her fans what had just happened. And she interrupted the show for a few moments.
So I said, ‘Stop!’ People are watching what’s happening and I said: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, I’m so sorry. My corset broke. I have to go change my clothes, otherwise I’ll soon stand here like a Turkish saint before you and I won’t be able to get out of this.’
