“I’m not done with life. I’m not done with love. I’m not done creating. I’m not done hoping to change things for the better,” he commented in the conversation as a preamble to a podcast that will premiere Dec. 6 on iHeartRadio, titled “Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty.”

1. Initial diagnosis (2015)

2. Treatment and mastectomy (2015)

3. Return of cancer (2017-2020)

Two years later, in 2017, he announced via his Instagram account that he was in remission, which means the disease has responded to treatment or is under control, as explained by the American Cancer Society.

In 2019, cancer was again present in his body, and in 2020, the diagnosis indicated stage 4 metastatic cancer.

4. Brain metastases (2022)

In 2022, he underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor he named Bob. Five months later, the cancer had already metastasized to Shannen Doherty’s brain, which was confirmed by a CT scan performed on the actress on January 5.

Therefore, he had to undergo brain radiation sessions since January 12, as he stated in a post on his IG last June.

“I am fortunate to have excellent doctors like Dr. Amin Mirahdi and amazing technicians at Cedar Sinai. But that fear… Turmoil… the timing of it all… This is what cancer can look like,” she described her experience.

5. Bone metastases

In an interview with the magazine, the actress confirmed that the cancer had spread to her bones. “It’s crazy to me that we still don’t have a cure,” he commented in reference to the topic of thinking about his life and what he still has to do like the podcast he’s about to release.
