Homemade masks are definitely the best, most natural and most budget-friendly way to have beautiful skin. You don’t have to reach for the most expensive creams to provide your skin with the best care. Often, these are products that we won’t spend a single penny on. In this case, two will work, which you will certainly find in your kitchen.

We will tell you how to make a natural mask yourself using only two ingredients: oatmeal – which often ends up on our plate in the form of nutritious porridge – and honey. If we don’t have them in the kitchen cupboard, we can certainly get them in the nearest supermarket or grocery store for just a few zlotys.

Why are oatmeal masks so popular? First of all, it is worth noting that oatmeal is a common ingredient of many cosmetics. They have anti-inflammatory properties – they can reduce itching and naturally support the protective barrier of the epidermis. They are also antibacterial and have antioxidant properties. They will be effective primarily in anti-inflammatory treatment, but will also help in getting rid of discoloration.

In addition, oatmeal can help moisturize our skin and is rich in vitamin E. Thanks to the content of antioxidants – which fight the effects of free radicals, responsible for, among others, for the skin aging process – they can gently affect the visibility of wrinkles and reduce them.

How to make a very simple mask with oatmeal and honey? The recipe is very simple. These two ingredients are a good combination because honey helps retain moisture, moisturizes and has antibacterial properties. So you need one serving of oatmeal and two tablespoons of honey.

Beautiful skin without wrinkles? Try a homemade oatmeal and honey mask

Just boil oatmeal and add honey to the still hot oatmeal. Set the oatmeal aside for a while to cool down. Apply the ready-made substance with a sticky consistency on face only after it has cooled down properly. After 10-15 minutes, wash off with lukewarm water. The mask can be used 2-3 times a week.

Tip for busy people: you can also try an instant mask made of oatmeal flakes, which is perfect for all skin types. How to do it? There is no philosophy here. Similarly, let the cooked oatmeal cool down and apply the resulting “paste” to your face for about a quarter of an hour. Finally, rinse with cool water.
