The Sekielski family revealed when they would show a film about John Paul II. Then they will finish the trilogy

Just a week ago, the premiere of the Sekielski brothers’ new documentary “Roots of Evil” took place, and questions are already being asked about the next production. This is a long-announced film about John Paul II.

they have already produced two parts of documents about pedophilia in the Catholic Church, but from the very beginning they said that it would not end with two parts. . No wonder that after “Roots of Evil” questions about the finale of the triptych about pedophilia came back.

When will the Sekielski brothers show a film about John Paul II?

The Sekielski Brothers create their productions with financial support from fans. They collect funds for subsequent films through online collections – for “Just Don’t Tell Anyone” and “Hide and Seek”, they managed to collect a total of over PLN 3.5 million. Filmmakers are supported monthly by almost a thousand people who pay almost PLN 22,000 to their account on Patronite.

Such sums are a commitment, which is why the Sekielski family reminds us from time to time that a third part of films about pedophilia in the Church is also planned. The last planned production is to focus on John Paul II and his role in covering up cases of pedophilia during his pontificate.

I don’t have to convince you that anyone who investigates sexual crimes in the Polish Catholic Church will sooner or later be faced with the question: what did the Vatican do in this case? And from here it is only a step to questions about John Paul II. How did he fight against pedophilia among clergy? What did he know and what was he unaware of? Did his closest collaborators, including Cardinal Dziwisz, hide the inconvenient truth from him? – wrote the creators.

And when will the premiere of this production be? We will have to wait a little longer for it, but it is planned for “2024”, as announced by the Sekielski family. The second part of the document on SKOKs is to appear earlier. A week after its premiere, “Roots of Evil” has over 2 million views on YouTube. “Just Don’t Tell Anyone” from 2019 was viewed over 24 million times, “Hide and Seek” – over 8 million times.
