So far, he has been considered one of the most controversial presenters of Polish Television. For several years he appeared regularly on screen, leading, among others, socio-political talk show “In contra” and one of the series of the program “Pytania na breakfast Extra”. He repeatedly expressed his conservative views and crude jokes on air. Finally, the cup of bitterness overflowed.

The bad streak started in mid-June 2023, when he lost his job at . It was already said that the reason for this decision was his mismatch with the other members of the team. A month later, by decision of the Television Information Agency, the presenter was removed from hosting the “In contra” program. Although he definitely denied that he had anything to blame, the official reason for his dismissal was his “indecent behavior”, especially towards women, and the resulting constant complaints. Then there were reports in the media that he would now try his hand at politics by running in the upcoming elections.
Jakimowicz returns with a new format. He will host it on a conservative website
However, everything indicates that he has not said his last word yet. Last weekend, he took to social media to deny reports that he had joined any political party. At the same time, he announced that he would return to work soon. It turned out that he became a member of the team of the conservative portal Prawy.pl, where he would host his first journalistic program. – I start broadcasting tomorrow. I’ve actually been working there since August, but my condition was to rebuild the studio and create television conditions. (…) It took longer because the carpenter didn’t varnish and didn’t check that the paint shop was on vacation – he talked about what happened behind the scenes in a recording published on Instagram.
