Danuta Kowalska made her debut in 1974 in the series “SOS”. She was only 19 years old then and studied at the State Drama School in Warsaw. The young actress quickly started acting in theaters, and directors engaged her in subsequent productions. She played, among others, in “Lalka”, “For Bednarski’s troubles” or “07 zgpowiedz się”, which can still be watched on vod.tvp.pl. Her role as the main character’s wife in “Oh, Karol” brought her great popularity.

After ending her acting career, the star started working in marketing. She dealt with advertising and public relations PR. She has had many successes in this field, e.g. she was the marketing director at The Coca-Cola Company in Warsaw and the marketing and communication director at the Legia Warszawa Football Club. In 2008, Kowalska founded her own company, CSR Strategies.
In 2009, she returned to acting and appeared in the film “Lesser Evil”. – I hope that there will be some proposals, because I think that, despite the ubiquitous cult of youth, mature women are welcome on the small and big screen – she said.
