In such a situation, an application should be submitted not only to the Social Insurance Institution, but also to the pension authority in the place where they worked outside Poland. If the person meets the required conditions, such as reaching the appropriate age and length of service, the benefit will be paid twice.

Some people are also entitled to a double pension . If they deposited contributions to both the Social Insurance Institution and the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS), they should submit appropriate applications in these places. They can do so when the conditions are met. You must be a person born after December 31, 1948, and have documents confirming periods of contributions to KRUS (20 years for women and 25 years for men). If the conditions are met and ZUS and KRUS receive the appropriate documentation, the applications should be approved. Thus, the pensioner’s account will be doubled.
