Chris Hemsworth, known for his role as Thor in the Marvel movies, recently surprised everyone by singing “La Camisa Negra” by Juanes. This talented Australian actor has shown his versatility by trying his hand at singing in another language.

The 40-year-old movie star participated in an interview with “Los 40”, a Spanish radio station. The actor was invited to talk about his character Tyler Rake in the sequel to the Netflix movie “Rescue Mission 2”.

In the interview, Hemsworth revealed the connection he has with Spanish thanks to his wife Elsa Pataky, who is Spanish. This strengthened her connection to language and allowed her to express herself, although not completely fluently.

During the conversation with the radio station, the journalist referred to the possibility that his character in the new film needs to learn some words in Spanish. The actor, laughing, responded by commenting that “he could say a lot of swear words”.

“That’s probably it. I don’t know any songs in Spanish anymore, maybe Shakira, although it doesn’t really fit in this movie,” he said with a laugh.

Hemsworth said he was delighted with the response to the first part of the film, suggesting that the success may have been due to the fact that the action scenes were not shot “on a blue screen”.

So getting the chance to play this character again elevates the action, but also has an emotional, relatable, true story at its core.
