Norbert Smoliński, or Smolasty or Smoła, grew up in Warsaw’s Bródno, and was interested in rap and funk as a teenager. As a child, he performed in the school band, where he played the guitar. Today, he creates music bordering on rap, R&B and pop, he is also a music producer. He debuted with his first single in 2016, in the same year he signed a contract with Warner Music Poland. The single “I am, I was, I will be” was certified gold, but Smolasty had to wait two years for his first radio hit. In 2018, he also received his first Fryderyk nomination for the phonographic debut of the year for the album “Fake Love”.

Smolasty in a duet with Doda. “Before the sun goes down” won the hearts of fans
Since 2018, Smolasty has released three more albums, conquering the charts and radio stations with the single “Tea with ginger”. Recently, together with Doda, he released the song “Before the Sun Sets”. The song quickly stole the hearts of both fans and was enthusiastically received, although it cannot be denied that the duo initially surprised them. She herself added that it was “one of the most beautiful songs she could write”.

Since his debut on the music scene, Smolasty has accustomed fans to a specific image, the most important element of which are tattoos. These have also been on his face for some time. Until a few years ago, he wore longer hair. What was it like before?
