Agnieszka Kaczorowska has been playing the role of Bożenka, daughter of Grażyna and Ryszard Lubicz, in the series “”. It’s been almost 25 years since she first hit the set. After such a long time, many actors decide to make drastic changes – they resign from long-term engagements, their characters “go abroad” or are “killed”, and they themselves try to find themselves in a completely new reality and new roles. Agnieszka Kaczorowska appeared last week at the conference of Telewizja Polska. The dancer decided to refer collectively to questions about the role in “Klan”.
I often get asked, why am I still playing there? Well, working on this series does not limit me at all. (…) “Klan” never interfered with anything. I went abroad to dance for two months – there was no problem, my thread was slightly limited. I danced in “Dancing with the Stars” in Polsat, which took me a lot of time – there was no problem, we arranged the recordings so that they did not overlap with the training. I’ve been appearing in programs on other channels for years – no problem, I’ve never heard a “but”. As a mother, I needed to go back between scenes to breastfeed one or the other girl – it was no problem, they understood and the plan was arranged so that I could act even at the beginning of my mother’s journey. I would find many more of these examples – wrote Kaczorowska.
It’s a built relationship. A relationship with production where both sides help each other and respect each other’s needs. For me, one of the most important values is family and development – if I can take care of these values, then why should I give up a permanent job that I enjoy? “Klan” has been part of my reality since I was a child. (…) Let this adventure last exactly as long as it should last – she concluded, signing “Bożenka” and “neverending story”.
“Klan” will appear in the autumn schedule of TVP without any surprises. Although the series generally loses viewers (the average viewership fell below a million in the 2022/2023 season – about 100,000 people less than the year before), it does not disappear from the production plans. At the beginning of the year, the president of TVP, Mateusz Matyszkowicz, spoke with respect about Polish series, hoping that he would be able to lead to a state where “main TVP antennas” would only have a place for them. This means that the position of “Klan” is actually unthreatened and the actors playing in it do not have to worry about the engagement.
