In the Netherlands on the night of August 21, a series of explosions occurred, including near a shoe store and residential buildings, writes NL Times.
The first explosion occurred at about 01:10 (02:10 Moscow time) in The Hague near a house on Adrianus van Driellan street. As a result, the door and a car parked nearby caught fire.
Then around 02:30 in Vlaardingen, an explosion was heard near a new sneaker store that opened on Saturday, as a result of which the door was damaged, the newspaper writes, citing the Rotterdam police. Immediately before the explosion, cameras spotted two young people on bicycles, according to the Rijnmond TV channel.
Two more explosions occurred in Amsterdam: the first near the house on Rosa Luxembourg Street at about 04:50, the second – on Raden Ajeng Kartini Street at 07:00. According to NU.nl, in the first case, the door caught fire and the windows were shattered. There were three people in the house at the time, including two minors. There was one person in the second house, he was rescued by firefighters. Police believe the two explosions are connected. Eyewitnesses saw how one person left on a motorcycle before the explosion, and another ran away.
No one was hurt in the explosions. The police are investigating what happened.
