Not only Julia von Stein. This is how Polish celebrities humiliate employees

Recently, the media has become loud about the behavior of Julia von Stein. An influencer known from the “Queens of Life” program humiliated a McDonald’s restaurant employee for asking her to put out her cigarette at the McDrive window. As it turns out, however, there are more such situations.

– The Lord is silent, and I speak. […] What right does your employee have the audacity to tell me to put out my cigarette in my car. Who the f*** is he? […] I can’t fucking smoke in my car because some chump, an employee will tell me that I can’t smoke in the car – Julia von Stein shouted. She also stated that the man called her attention with a tone “as if she had murdered his mother”. The employee’s supervisor, in turn, assured her that she would bear the consequences of her behavior.

A wave of criticism poured out on the influencer

After the recording of the entire situation was published online, most Internet users critically assessed Julia von Stein’s behavior, claiming that her reaction was exaggerated, and that the humiliation of the restaurant employee is a manifestation of a sense of superiority and narcissism. In response to such remarks, the influencer apologized, admitting that she could have chosen words differently, but “when someone is upset, it’s just hard.” Even the McDonald’s restaurant referred to the whole matter in an official statement.

– At McDonald’s, insults, shouting and any form of violence against the team are not allowed. In security procedures and internal training, we indicate possible forms of reaction in situations that threaten the dignity and protection of other personal rights of the crew. We encourage you to be assertive, set boundaries and – if the situation requires it – call security or the police. […] We emphasize that no one from the restaurant team of the franchise organization where the incident occurred suffered no consequences. Franchise employees received support – in a statement.

It turns out, however, that there were more situations in which Polish celebrities treated employees providing basic services with contempt. In June, a recording appeared on the web in which Monika KocioĊ‚ek (1.2 million followers on Instagram) and Karol Pieszko (2.5 million followers on TikTok) humiliated a waitress in one of the restaurants. The employee asked not to give a bad opinion of the restaurant, because it was her first day at work. The amused Pieszko said he would do it anyway.

A wave of criticism also fell on the Polish rapper. Malik Montanta published a video on TikTok in which we can see how he steps on the table in shoes, from which employees serve food. After a while, the celebrity began to dance. After his “feat” did not meet with the approval of other Internet users, Malik Montana insulted most of the critics in the comments.
