Mixed martial arts fighter (MMA) Jeff Monson told how he recovers from fights. It is reported by REN TV.

According to him, in his youth he drank, but in Russia he found a replacement for alcohol. “Now I eat ice cream, khachapuri, all that,” said the athlete.

On Friday, August 18, Monson will fight according to the rules of boxing against Russian Oleg Taktarov. The fight will take place in Moscow.

In May of this year, Monson revealed that he had renounced his American citizenship. In 2016, the fighter became a citizen of the Luhansk People’s Republic. In May 2018, he received Russian citizenship. The fighter is also an honorary citizen of Abkhazia.

52-year-old Monson is known for his performances in MMA and grappling. He has 60 wins and 26 losses in mixed martial arts.
