TVP as the national broadcaster decided to pay homage to the Polish Army in a peculiar way and prepared a special concert dedicated to the armed forces of our country. On the stage in Giżycko they played m. Kuba Szmajkowski, Edyta Górniak, Marek Piekarczyk, Kamil Bednarek, Olga Szomańska, Natasza Urbanska and Mateusz Ziółko.

Minister of Defense Mariusz Błaszczak also decided to honor everyone with his presence, who during the broadcast of the event encouraged viewers to watch the great parade in Warsaw, which will take place on August 15, i.e. the Polish Army Day. The head of the Ministry of National Defense also gave a long and pathetic speech in which he praised the Polish defense industry and the strength of the national army.
Later, when the performances started, however, there was a sudden setback. It happened when the stage wanted to congratulate the soldiers on the occasion of the upcoming holiday. “Our soldiers received special wishes from allied forces on the occasion of their holiday. Let’s see!” – announced one of the most popular presenter duets of the national broadcaster – Rafał Brzozowski and Izabella Krzan.
However, the viewers sitting in front of the televisions saw something completely different at that moment. The producer mistakenly showed a rollover on other viewers, and the audience gathered in front of the stage appeared on the screens.
It is not known why wishes were not broadcast at that time, but the presenter duo immediately tried to control the situation. “Of course, we will return to the wishes” – the surprised hosts said, and the wishes for the soldiers were shown later, when Natasza Urbańska stopped singing.
