Insider Gaming: a video with the PlayStation 5 Slim console appeared on the network
The network has published a video with a presumably new Sony console. This is reported by Insider Gaming.
Media journalists drew attention to the video that appeared in Twitter-account of an Australian enthusiast under the nickname BwE_Dev. In the video, the user showed the PlayStation 5 Slim from different angles. How BwE_Dev managed to get the console at his disposal is not specified.
In the video, the author showed the plastic case of the PS5 CFI-2016 console and the removable drive that the console will be equipped with. Apparently, the new device has a thinner body than the original PlayStation 5. Also, the device will receive thinner air vents than the PS5. The future cheapest console of the current series will receive two USB-C connectors: for comparison, the original console had one USB-A and USB-C port each.
“While the video footage of the console is not currently verified, it is consistent with our initial report,” said author Tom Henderson. The Insider Gaming portal was the first to predict the release of the PlayStation 5 Slim.
Earlier, The Verge journalists said that Sony would release an affordable console before the end of 2023. The PlayStation 5 Slim will be priced no more than $400, or 40,000 rubles.
