How to apply for such a benefit? First of all, you can only get school allowance if your family already receives child benefit. This benefit is a form of support and does not function independently.
– Therefore, if you want to take advantage of the school allowance, you must first apply for child benefit. The parent should apply for the payment of this allowance by the end of the benefit period in which the school year began. Application templates can be picked up at municipal offices or downloaded from the website of the Ministry of Family and Social Policy via the Emp@tia portal. Documents for granting family allowance and allowance for the beginning of the school year must be submitted by October 31, 2023.
