Reporter Gossip Karolina Sobocińska asked Julia how the preparations for the wedding were going. Then it turned out that the wedding had already taken place and not one, but two. – “We’ve had two weddings in general. One was a club wedding, a theme party, and the other was more serious at the drama theater in Warsaw at the Palace of Culture and it was at Szymczyk’s performance” – says Julia. When asked by a journalist if this means that Julia and her partner are already married, she replied as follows:
We got wedding rings, you had an emblem around your neck, the whole act was read out. Of course, the act that is currently prevailing, i.e. that only heterosexual people can get married, was read out and it was slightly transformed and everyone who was in the hall witnessed our wedding.

Change is needed. (…) Legalization of civil unions will not really change anything for people who are so afraid of it, because it has been introduced in Spain, Germany, Italy, Croatia. And it is introduced, even though some of these countries are not very tolerant.
