Drooping eyelids are a problem for many people. Although it often increases with age, it does not bypass younger women. To prevent or minimize them, we resort to various means.

They take away the glow from our eyes and make us look tired and older. They also make it difficult to apply make-up, and when it is done, in many cases they completely cover it. Drooping eyelids are not only an aesthetic problem, although many people focus on this aspect. In a more advanced stage, they reduce our field of vision and can affect the deterioration of vision.

The way to drooping eyelids – forget about Botox

When it comes to dealing with the problem of drooping eyelids, we most often hear about eyelid correction surgery. It is quite popular and routine, but still quite invasive. It turns out that – if we act early enough – the condition of the eyelids can be improved. Effect? You can see right away. In addition, we do not have to spend a fortune on various cosmetics or beauty treatments in beauty salons.

The only thing we need is a bit of time and regularity, because we are talking about a few trivially simple exercises. There are lots of tutorials on the internet about specific techniques. Below are some of them.

One exercise is to open your eyes without raising your eyebrows or frowning. We repeat this 10 times. If the outer side of the eyelid droops, we gently lift and stretch the eyebrow on the outer side and again open the eyes 10 times so that nothing but the eye works. If I have a problem with the inner side of the eyelid, we gently lift and stretch the inner side of the eyebrow, and then repeat the exercise in the same way.

The next exercise consists in placing the base of the hand under the eyebrow and gently pressing it down and lifting it. Let’s make sure that our forehead does not wrinkle under the hand. Then we look and close the eye 20 times. We repeat the same with the other eye.

Thanks to these exercises, our gaze will be refreshed and our eyes will be more open. The effect is visible immediately. However, in order to effectively fight drooping eyelids, we must be systematic and repeat the whole thing regularly. It is worth taking a look at this type of exercises, because in a not very time-consuming and, above all, free way, we can improve the appearance of the face without Botox.
