All you need is the kind of medicine that everyone probably has in their medicine cabinet. To make the laundry perfectly white again, use five aspirin tablets of 325 milligrams each. The acetylsalicylic acid contained in it has whitening and stain removal properties.

1. Place the tablets in a large bowl or tub of hot water to dissolve.
2. Mix the water with the aspirin until all the tablets are completely dissolved. To make the tablets dissolve faster, you can also crush them before putting them in water.
3. Then place the dull white clothes in a bowl or tub of aspirin water and leave them there to soak for eight hours.
4. You can also just add a few aspirin tablets to the washing machine, but the soaking method works better.
5. After you let your clothes soak, wash them in the washing machine as usual.
