After his fall in Miami, Karol G makes history with his concerts in Puerto Rico

The singer with her shows on the ‘island of enchantment’ becomes the first foreign female artist to completely sell two performances in a row.

The Colombian women Karol G Yesterday she marked a milestone at the Coliseum in Puerto Rico with a full house in her first concert, during which she put the public to “dogging” and she herself did not stop dancing, despite her spectacular fall the day before.

In the first of her two concerts on the great stage of San Juan, the singer of the urban genre delighted her followers with hits such as My bed, Caramel, The Makinon and Tusa, accompanied by a striking audiovisual show.

Karol G makes his debut with these performances at the Colosseum, considered the most important arena of the urban genre, and becomes the first foreign female artist to fully sell two consecutive performances.

As they commented to Efe the organizers of the concert, he is also the first artist of the foreign urban genre to fill the Colosseum, whose tickets were sold out in a matter of minutes.

Karol G danced, went up and down the stairs of the stage and even jumped as if at the concert yesterday in Miami she had not fallen and had ended up, as she herself said, very sore.

Before the dedicated Puerto Rican public, the Colombian assured that she did not care about that spectacular fall because today she was in “the fucking Coliseum”.

During the concert, the artist commented that Puerto Ricans should feel “proud” of their music and culture: “I love it, my second home (is Puerto Rico),” she stressed.

After encouraging the public to sing the songs with them and if not to “dance and dance”, Karol G continued with themes such as Pineapple, believe me and her, the latter dedicated to “the woman who got involved” in their relationship.

These songs and The Makinon, which drove the audience crazy, were marked by sensual dances and a daring wardrobe in red, to match their dance group.

As a final culmination, “the authentic perreos” arrived, in the words of the Colombian, with themes such as China, 200 glasses, Bichota and Tusa.

These last two songs are part of his third and last album, KG0516, published this year and nominated for the Best Urban Music Album at the Grammy Awards awarded by the American Recording Academy on January 31.

For this category, inaugurated in this edition, they also compete Aphrodisiac, the Raw Alejandro; The last tour of the world, de Bad Bunny; Josephby J Balvin; and Without fear (of love and other demons), de Kali Uchis.

In addition, at the recent Latin Grammy Awards, held on November 18 in Las Vegas, Karol G won the award for best reggaeton performance for Bichota, another of the issues that raised the spectators of the Colosseum. (E)
