The hosts went ahead at 21 of the first half, with a header by Romagnoli. However, three minutes later, the visitors tied with Scamacca, who landed a shot at the angle. The comeback came at 33, with an own goal by Kjaer. In the second half, Berardi dodged the mark and hit cross to extend the advantage. The home team still ended the match one player down, as Romagnoli was sent off.
With the result, the Red-black parks in second place, with 32 points, and can see Napoli, who enter the field this Sunday, take the lead. On the other side, Sassuolo, despite the triumph, remains at the bottom of the table.
Next Saturday, Milan will face Salernitana, at 11 am (GMT). Sassuolo, on the other hand, receives Napoli, this Wednesday.
