The Closed Branch was founded in 1979 as an uncompromising team aimed at young people. The musicians provoked the audience to think, they rebelled against the order prevailing at that time, the dullness of the streets and the times of ubiquitous scarcity. It is no wonder that the musicians, still playing under a known name, reacted sharply to their colleague’s cooperation with TVP – a station that openly discriminates against minorities and is politicized.
