After that time, Ilona Łepkowska, who wrote the screenplay, came to the conclusion that one of the main characters had to be killed off – it was the character played by Morawski. More than 15 years after leaving the telenovela set, the actor returned to the subject of “M jak miłość” in an interview for “Tele Tygodnia”.

He spoke to the weekly on the occasion of his recent 69th birthday. He decided to express his regret that more and more people who do not go to drama school proudly call themselves actors. “Nowadays, we have come to such an absurdity that literally anyone can act under the slogan of an actor. In the film world, this absurdity is all the greater because for the producer, an actor is someone who will stand in front of the camera. Regardless of whether he has an education, or not,” he said in an interview. Later, he decided to give an example of the Mroczek brothers, who, according to him, fit perfectly into this thesis:
At some point, they decided to stay and play on. In fact, they don’t even play. They just let themselves be filmed as Mroczki. Of course, in the meantime, they have learned some behavior in front of the camera, but they are still Mroczki watched by her – commented Morawski.
It turns out that the actor also does not have the best opinion about the level of the soap opera. I cited a situation in which he switched channels and came across the episode “M jak miłość”, which did not make the best impression on him. “Once, having a free evening, I turned on the series. But to be honest, I turned it off after a dozen or so minutes. I didn’t understand anything at all. I think I’ve gone too far from it,” he said.
The character played by Morawski was extremely popular
His character appeared for the last time in episode 391 “M jak miłość”. Morawski admitted in an interview with “Tele Tygodnia” that he was struggling on the set of the series, but Ilona Łepkowska’s decision was not entirely accurate because his character was very popular with viewers:
To be honest, I was still surprised that I lasted this long in this series. Once I was going through my notes and noticed that many threads with Zduński were not developed or even finished. Apparently there was no demand for my character. It was only when Zduński was dying that it turned out how popular he was with the viewers. Unfortunately, it was too late to resurrect – confessed the actor.
