Stephen King was not impressed with “Succession”
For many, the fourth (final) season did not turn out to be a disappointment either. Most fans of the series believe that the creators ended it in style, and although the last episode leaves a few questions, it closes the whole story in a good way. However, there are also people who do not think so favorably about “Succession”. One of them is the well-known horror writer Stephen King, who by some may be treated as an oracle of good taste, because recently he has been very eager to share his thoughts on various movies and series. This time, he referred to the enthusiasm around the finale of “Succession” in a biting way. In a Twitter post, he wrote:

Unfortunately, the popular author did not explain anywhere why he expressed his disapproval of “Succession”. It would seem that the subject of gaining power may appeal to him after he praised Netflix’s “The Diplomat” a few weeks ago, whose main character suddenly found herself in the center of an international crisis. Either way, many people responded to the writer’s tweet by saying that the show didn’t appeal to them either. We can only wonder if King will want to develop his thought further.
