The next episode of the 26th season is behind us. This time she chose the “Old Mill” restaurant as a wallpaper. To help the owners of the premises restore the splendor of this place, she went to Łomża. What she found there knocked her off her feet.
“Kitchen revolutions”. Gessler was devastated by the conditions in the premises
From the very beginning, the star’s attention was drawn to the damaged furniture. Although the place did not make the best impression on her, she decided to order a few dishes from the a la carte. She chose various kinds of dumplings and pancakes, but she didn’t like any of them. – Creating a restaurant with these dumplings is like fighting windmills – leaving the premises. The next day, she made an appointment to talk to the restaurant owners. The atmosphere was tense from the beginning, and Gessler did not mince words. “Why do smart-looking people come up with such a tasteless concept of dumplings?” You set an example in this place that Polish dumplings suck – she said. These words irritated the owner of the “Old Mill”. She stated that the pub also has many loyal customers who do not see the point in carrying out . “They said we had delicious dumplings,” she argued.
Gessler did not remain in debt. She stated that if she was invited only to become free publicity, then she had no choice but to leave the premises. – If you’re in trouble and you don’t have money and I’m here, it’s not because there are good dumplings here, it’s because there’s an ass here. Unless you say people are delighted, but what am I for? Marketing? I’m running away. Maybe I’ll go out because I’m f**ked – said the TVN star. “I’ve never eaten shit like that,” Gessler added after a moment. When the emotions subsided, she went to the back room to see the kitchen. What she found there shocked her. She stated that the room is impractical and the mess is the fault of the owners who do not care about cleanliness. – Can I close the premises and ask the health department? Because I feel like it. It’s not a question of help anymore. This is to be reported to the health department. This is to be closed, Gessler threatened.
The exploitation of workers outraged Gessler. There was a brawl
It seemed that the surprises were over, but the third day shocked the host of the reality show again. The owners blamed the mess on the employees, who, as it turned out, did not earn enough to perform duties beyond those for which they were hired. “They earn minimum wage,” the owner argued, but the cooks’ account was different.
It turned out that women receive from PLN 12 to PLN 13 per hour of work. “Are you fucking crazy?” There are no such prices. This is theft. You don’t pay people like that, Gessler thundered. “I won’t let you do any harm,” she assured the workers, then pledged to continue the program only if the owners signed an employment contract with the cooks and offered them a rate not less than the national minimum wage with a 4% bonus. The owners agreed to this proposal and the metamorphosis of the premises began. First, the name of the pub was changed to “Painted dumplings”, and then the interiors were refreshed. After learning how to cook and promoting the restaurant, it was time for the final dinner, which delighted the customers.
