Recently, a new scandal came to the public about the alleged sexual and work abuse of Edgardo Díaz, the former manager of Menudo, towards the young members of this boy band that was an international musical sensation between 1977 and 2002.

The creator of the group is already being investigated by the Los Angeles police due to the allegations made by Roy Roselló, but now new information about the case has become public.

It was through the program “Gossip No Like” that Díaz’s current lifestyle was revealed and how he was able to go unpunished for his alleged crimes with the help of “corrupt politicians and executives.”

As the host of the program, Javier Ceriani, points out, Edgardo Díaz was partly overshadowed by various media, and in particular he received the support of journalist Cristina Saralegui.

“The image washing that Cristina Saralegui did to Edgardo Díaz on Univisión was the most shameful televised, journalistic act of the Hispanic industry in the United States worldwide,” he said.

The picture posted by ‘Chisme no, Like’ shows Edgardo Díaz with musician William Luque, who identifies himself on Instagram as @grandpamusic.

That’s because in one of her broadcasts, the host welcomed the new Menudos to her show and said goodbye not before accusing Ralphy Rodríguez, the only member of the band to denounce the abuse.

“Beware of the powerful Mr. Don Diner, who is everyone’s enemy”, were Saralegui’s words that demoralized the rest of his teammates and because of which no one talked about his manager at the time.

According to Ceriani, Edgardo Díaz has assets in different countries such as Japan and Thailand, and Spain is his current place of residence.

“I’m sorry, because what you lived is not what I lived”: Former Menudo Johnny Lozada talks about gang abuse and says the difference was his mother taking care of him

“We’re all working together to enrich the monster,” he said. “This man can escape, this man can disappear from the Earth […] He has friends, he enjoys all the money in the world,” he said.
