A few days before the coronation of Charles III, the BBC released a documentary about the life of the new king of England, in which previously unseen archive footage was shared.
Under the name “Charles R: The Making of a Monarch” or in Spanish “Carlos R: building a monarch” the production is an intimate portrait of His Majesty, where he himself tells his story in the first person, from his childhood and his journey to becoming king at the age of 74.
Prince Louis, the funniest and cutest member of Windsor: at the age of five, the son of Kate Middleton and William was declared the favorite of the royal family’s followers
It is a documentary made up mostly of domestic films that were filmed by members of the same royal family during the seven decades of Carlos’ life, reports the Spanish media El Mundo.

In the same Carlos tells in the first person what his mother was like before and after she became queen and also the recommendations of his grandmother, the queen mother who was also called Isabel.
“I have very happy childhood memories. When I was little, both of my parents enjoyed filming things and we had a lot of laughs. I remember, above all, the laughter of my mother, who was very happy,” said King Carlos III, thinking of his childhood and as images of him playing as a child came flooding back.

Aside from Elizabeth’s joy, she admits that when she took the throne she was “always busy”, but this did not mean a lonely childhood for the future King of England as he was always accompanied by his grandmother.
“I remember spending a lot of time with her at the Royal Lodge, where there was a beautiful garden. I learned a lot from her. Things of great value to my life,” says Carlos in the audiovisual show.
From the day his mother became queen on June 2, 1953, when he was just four years old, he mentioned how he felt and recalled some unimaginable details of the occasion.

“I remember the coronation. I remember the bath, when my mother walked around with a crown. It was incredibly difficult. That’s why she had to practice using it,” she said.

“I’ll never forget my grandmother telling me things like, ‘Honey, try to remember this,'” Carlos says of that phase of his life, of which he admits he has only happy memories.
Camila Parker, from doting lover to crowned Queen of the United Kingdom, this has been the life of Carlos III’s current wife.
Then he admits that he doesn’t know when he became aware of who he is. “The idea that you have a certain responsibility is inexorably born,” he admitted.
But this documentary also shows that side that few have seen and that many question, his family side, because for Carlos it is better to “think of us more as a family than as a company. I tend to think of my family as very special people.”

In the 60 Minutes feature, Carlos III talks about his gender and skiing preferences in addition to being a father and grandfather, although Vanity Fair reports that near the end, Carlos appears briefly with Princess Charlotte in his arms, and later another picture shows him sitting with Prince George.
From his relationship with Prince William, he made it clear what he expected from him. “I hope that, as a farmer’s son, he will follow his father around the property and collect things,” he says in this regard, while he has little other son.

Prince Harry seems to have been completely banished from the royal family, and in this documentary this is shown once again by the Duke of Sussex’s fleeting appearance in profile while walking in Balmoral, after the death of his mother Diana in 1997.
The role of mother was her priority: Princess Diana managed to break protocol and take off her shoes to celebrate Mother’s Day at William’s school
The material broadcast by the BBC includes an interview with Camilla Rosemary Shand, the current Queen of England. In it, Carlos III’s wife talks about his qualities and what she likes most about him.
“People see him as a serious person, which he is, but I would like them to see his brighter side,” he says.

For his part, the king responds to his wife’s praise, qualifying her as “the best” and referring to her as someone who “knows how to listen.” – He has the gift of wonderful people.
