Fans certainly remember the resolute and feisty Ula, one of Ola Lubicz’s best friends (Kaja Paschalska). This character was played by Aleksandra Niżyńska, daughter of Wojciech Niżyński, who, in addition to the popular telenovela of Telewizja Polska, co-created such productions as “In the Labyrinth” or “Return of the Wolf”. Aspiring almost immediately stole the hearts of viewers. When in 2008 she unexpectedly left the series, many were surprised by this decision. As it turns out, the girl decided to give up acting to focus on getting a good job.

Another place where she developed professionally was a managerial position at the Observatory of Gender Equality. Aleksandra Nijinska’s scientific career gained momentum when she joined EIT Food, which is part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. She is now working to make the food system sustainable and suitable for both human health and the environment.

Many wonder how the series Ula has changed. Although Nijinska last appeared on the screen 15 years ago, many could easily recognize her today.
