It is important to do it on the side of metal wires, i.e. springs. Position the foil so that after inserting a seemingly too small battery, it fills the space between it and the wires. - Throw three or four balls of rolled aluminum foil into the washing machine and put on washing. You will forget about electrifying fabrics.
