“Millionaires”. Already at the first question he used lifebuoys. All because of the “adventurer”

Monday’s episode of “Millionaires” ended with a game by Mateusz Szczepara, who managed to answer only one question. Therefore, in the Tuesday edition of the program, the participant continued the fight for the main prize. See how he handled the questions.

On May 9, 2023, TVN broadcast an episode in which Mateusz Szczepara continued his game. The programmer and energy engineer from Kraków had an unusual way of getting through the first set of questions. The participant used all available lifebuoys from the very beginning. How did he do in the next step?

“Millionaires”. He used lifebuoys. Then he sang back

Already a question for 1 thousand. PLN introduced the participant into consternation and embarrassment. — Awanturka is pasta — the host of the program, and then presented the proposed answers:

A. polishing
B. sugary
C. for shoes
D. for sandwiches

The man immediately admitted that he had no idea which answer was correct, so he asked to use the “half and half” lifebuoy. After the computer eliminated two variants, A and B, the participant was still hesitant. He decided to use the help again and this time he dialed a friend. His friend, Alice, advised him to choose answer D, which later turned out to be the correct one.

The next questions did not cause the player much difficulty. He easily pointed out a custom that is not related to Midsummer’s Eve, and also said which bird “kuka”. He coped equally well with the question of a tongue twister or a heroine of a popular opera. – The wife of which of these characters became the heroine of the German opera “Light” – read the host of the question for 20,000. PLN, presenting the proposed answers:

A. Nicolae Ceausescu
B. Helmut Kohl
C. Józef Piłsudski

Asking for 40,000 PLN was in the field of philosophy and it turned out to be quite a surprise for Mateusz. – What is the purpose of the device combined with the philosopher William Ockham, who believed that one should always strive for simplicity – Urbański asked.

A. to eat
B. for shaving
C. to listen
D. to play

The participant did not hide that he did not know the correct answer, but decided to take a risk. By deduction, he bet on option B, which turned out to be the right variant and thus received a chance to fight for 75,000. zloty. He answered the question from this pool with flying colors, pointing to the town where the medieval Polish Leaning Tower is located. The joy did not last long, however. The next task again caused a lot of difficulties for the competitor. — Who doesn’t win the 1st prize at the 10th International Chopin Piano Competition Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw opened the gates of career – read the host

A. Witold Małcużyński
B. Ivo Pogorelić
C. Halina Czerny-Stefańska
D. Piotr Paleczny

The competitor again admitted that the topic is completely foreign to him and he does not know which variant is the right one. Instead of withdrawing from the game, he decided to take another chance. Unfortunately, this time Mateusz was not lucky. He pointed to option A, which turned out to be wrong, and the correct choice was Ivo Pogorelić. Thus ended his adventure with the program, in which he won 40,000. zloty.
