The Film and Human Rights festival rewards “Good companies” and “The lost souls of Syria”

The San Sebastian Film and Human Rights Festival has announced the winners of its twentieth edition, in which the film “The Good Companies” (Silvia Munt) has won the Audience Award for Best Feature Film.
The film is set in Errenteria in the 70s, and accompanies a feminist group of the time. During one summer, the transition to adulthood, political commitment and love will intersect in Bea’s life.
The Lost Souls of Syriaa documentary by Stéphane Malterre and Garance Le Caisne, has been awarded the Amnesty International Award for Best Feature Film, and yellowby Elham Ehsas, with the Young Jury Award for Best Short Film.
This afternoon (Friday, April 28, 8:00 pm) the awards ceremony will be held at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre, after which the closing film, Toi non plus tu n’as rien vu, by Béatrice Pollet, will be screened.
