Zinebi will show Basque short films in Germany

The Bilbao International Short Film and Documentary Film Festival, Zinebi, will present between April 27 and 29 a selection of short films from the last ten years at the 69th edition of the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, in Germany), under the title ‘Focus Basque Country: Heterogeneous Landscapes’.
Therefore, 18 documentary, fictional, animated and experimental short films can be seen: ‘Amore d’inverno’ (Isabel Herguera, 2015), ‘Ancora lucciole’ (Maria Elorza, 2018), ‘Areka’ (Atxur Animazio Taldea, 2017), ‘Ehiza’ (Hauazkena Animazio Taldea, 2020), ‘Hemen. Berriz’ (Aitor Gametxo, 2020), ‘Ikusleak’ (Jesús María Palacios, 2018), ‘In ictu oculi’ (Jorge Moneo Quintana, 2020), ‘Inner Outer Space’ (Laida Lertxundi, 2021)’ and ‘It Is All Right Here’ (Teresa Sendagorta, 2018).

Oberhausen is the oldest short film festival in history, and filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese, Chris Marker, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Agnès Varda, Lindsay Anderson, Chantal Akerman and George Lucas have presented their works at the same festival.
