Who can count on early retirement? have achieved the required length of service in special conditions or of a special nature. Speech, among others about work that is significantly harmful to health, a significant degree of nuisance or requires high psychophysical fitness due to the safety of oneself and others, as well as e.g. work of teachers, soldiers or journalists. In addition, as at December 31, 2008:
- have reached the required retirement age (different depending on gender and type of work performed),
- they own appropriate seniority of contributory and non-contributory periodsi.e. 25 years for men and 20 years for women,
- are not members of OFE or decide to renounce funds from open pension funds for the benefit of state budget revenues.
The conditions for receiving early retirement in their case are specified in detail from February 7, 1983.

Whether your work was performed in special conditions or of a special nature the relevant entry on the employment certificate decides. Without it, he will reject your application. This applies to people who:
- performed the type of work strictly in accordance with the list, department and items listed in the regulation,
- held a job position listed in the appropriate list, department, position and departmental management point or resolution,
- they are able to prove the period during which they performed work in particular conditions on a full-time basis in a given position.

What if the employer has never used departmental work lists? Then it’s enough to the position indicated by him on the certificate was consistent with the one found in the regulation of February 7, 1983. In addition to the application for early retirement, you must also attach documents that will confirm:
- periods of employment in special conditions or in a special nature,
- periods shown in the form (e.g. employment certificates),
- salary or insurance.
