The price of dollar in Mexico operates in the early hours of Friday to the downside, after the publication of data in USA that revived fears of economic recession.
The exchange rate is listed at 17,998 pesos per dollar, according to data from the Bloomberg agency.
It is worth mentioning that the Mexican currency has shown a favorable trend against the dollar since December of last year. And it is that the US authorities implemented a series of monetary policy measures to avoid excessive inflation.
In this sense, since December 6, 2022, the price of the Mexican peso has improved against the dollar.

The Latin American currency and stock markets closed the previous day with gains, recovering part of the losses of the previous day, after the publication of data in USA that revived fears of economic recession.
According to the Reuters Agency, the session revealed data suggesting that the labor market is gradually slowing down, as well as a precipitous drop in business activity in the Mid-Atlantic and a decline in second-hand home sales.
Meanwhile, the investors kept the focus of attention on pronouncements by officials of the Federal Reserve US, to determine the magnitude of the next interest rate move at its May meeting and whether the current monetary cycle would close.
