A recording from a Polish church appeared on TikTok. We can see the priest blessing the parishioners with an sprinkler. What catches the eye, however, is the way he does it and the children who run around him with water guns. He is not the only priest who celebrated Monday with the faithful.

Wet Monday, also called ¶migus-dyngus, has a long tradition in Poland. While there is no certainty as to where it comes from, it is still willingly cultivated. About how much the faithful from two parishes found out. Unusual recordings published on the web turned out to be a real hit.

In the video published on social media, we see a man walking around the church in Radom, who blessed the faithful with a sprinkler, definitely not sparing water. He scooped it from the bucket carried by the altar boy. The priest himself is wearing a raincoat, and children run around him with toy guns and water sprays, which they generously pour over the priest. Adrian Chojnicki from Rybnik, a recording appeared in which he showed how he celebrated with the faithful. We can see two priests (including one in a fireman’s jacket) standing in front of the entrance to the church. The first of them holds a container with an atomizer, and the second a bottle with a hose attached, from which water mist was coming out. They both made sure that everyone leaving the building was sprinkled with water. Even the unpleasant weather did not spoil their plans, and it can be said from the smiling faces of the faithful that they liked the idea.
