Pension supplements. 2023 under the sign of “thirteen” and “fourteen”

One of the supplements that seniors can count on is the 13th pension, which has already been paid to most seniors in the last few days, and others will receive it by April 25. However, not everyone will get the extra cash. “” on their accounts will see seniors and seniors who are entitled to receive a pension. Then they will receive:

• Benefit lower than PLN 800 – the 13th old-age pension will amount to approximately PLN 1,445.48 net (reduced by the health insurance premium),
• The minimum benefit of PLN 1,588.44 gross – the 13th pension will be approximately PLN 1,330 net,
• Benefit higher than PLN 2,500 gross – the 13th pension will be approximately PLN 1,254.87 net.

In 2023, seniors are also to receive the 14th pension. It is to amount to a minimum of PLN 1,588.44 gross, which gives PLN 1,445.48 net, although the Council of Ministers may increase this amount. It is worth remembering, however, that the income threshold of PLN 2,900 applies here. Above this amount, the PLN for PLN rule will be applied. The payout date has not yet been announced, however it is scheduled for the second half of 2023. It will be granted to everyone who does not exceed the income threshold and is entitled to receive a disability pension or old-age pension.

Honorary pension for 100-year-olds. Over $5,000 a month

After reaching the age of 100, seniors have the right to receive a monthly honorary benefit, which is commonly referred to as . Then everyone who reaches the required age will receive extra cash for the rest of their lives. From March 1, 2023, this amount is PLN 5,540.25 gross. Turning 100 years old is the only condition that must be met. There is no need to submit applications, and cash is due to everyone – regardless of whether they are entitled to an old-age or disability pension or not. The honorary pension for 100-year-olds is paid automatically by the Social Insurance Institution.
