If they had to spend more time on it, definitely more people would decide to drive without them. However, this is not the only form of “encouragement” to fasten seatbelts.

- PLN 100 and 5 or 8 penalty points for driving a vehicle carrying passengers who have not fastened their seat belts,
- PLN 300 and 10 penalty points for transporting a child in a vehicle in a place other than safety seats.
