Fans are able to travel hundreds or even thousands of kilometers to see their favorite performers live. A great example of a man who was not afraid of ticket prices and distances when planning visits to idol concerts is Piotr Kowieski, who in 2013 published an autobiographical book “W Pogoni za MetallikÄ…”. In it, he described the numerous trips he made to listen to the hits of metal giants live once again.
Probably both Kowieski and many other music maniacs would like to have a magic ticket that would entitle them to free entry to every concert of their favorite musicians. As it turns out, there are lucky people who have such privileges.
Owen Wilson had a lifetime ticket to The Rolling Stones concerts. He lost her quickly
Actor Owen Wilson known for productions such as “Hunting Bridesmaids”, the series “Loki” or “Midnight in Paris” once received an “all access” pass (full access to all zones – editorial note) for concerts. The artist told James Corden about his privileges during one of the recent editions of The Late Late Show.
Wilson’s pass was to be for life and not only entitled him to free viewing of rock legends in front of the stage. In addition, the actor was able to go behind the scenes of the event, walk around the band’s dressing room and be with the stars at arm’s length. A laminated badge, which for a fan of The Rolling Stones would probably be the Holy Grail, was given to Wilson by his friend Mick Jagger. Unfortunately, the actor did not enjoy the VIP pass for long.
I went to the concert and wandered around the backstage, testing if the pass worked and if I could actually go anywhere with it,” Wilson said.
The actor noted that he stood in a place from which he could see the musicians’ performance perfectly, and Mick Jagger sang very close to him. During “Jumping Jack Flash”, Wilson realized that he was also visible to the audience, because the space he occupied still belongs to the stage.
I tried to be invisible, but someone came running to me and told me to get out of there. He said, “Move! Get out of here! You shouldn’t even be here,” the actor reported.
Mick Jagger’s security seized Owen Wilson’s ticket to the Stones’ concerts
Wilson admitted that the next morning he received a call from security chief Mick Jagger, who told him that he had to pick up his pass, which he had not had time to enjoy.
The actor admitted that he understood this decision perfectly, especially since that unlucky evening he wore white and was very visible to the audience.
They have a show to do. They don’t need a distracting buffoon, Wilson joked.
We will soon see the actor on the big screen in more productions. The film “Paint” will be released on April 7, and the world premiere of “The Haunted Mansion” is scheduled for July 26.
