The celebration of Palm Sunday commemorates a key event in the Christian faith. The holiday is a symbol of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. We associate it with colorful palm trees the most. The motley ornaments are supposed to resemble twigs held by children welcoming Christ to the city. the celebration of Passion Sunday falls on the 4th century. During this period, the Jerusalem patriarch rode a donkey in the image of Jesus and rode it down from the Mount of Olives to the metropolis. From the 11th century, the custom of blessing palms was also introduced.

Palm Sunday symbolizes the martyrdom of Jesus and his triumph over death.
