The Artium museum in Vitoria-Gasteiz presents the film until June 18, 2023 “San Simon 62” by Irati Gorostidi and Mirari Echavarri.

In this work, Gorostidi and Echávarri approach the convent of Lizaso, in Navarra, which welcomed the Arco Iris community in the 1980s, attracted by the memories of their mothers, who passed through that group.

During the 1980s, a convent in Lizaso housed that Rainbow community where “new age” healing practices were experimented with. Currently, the building is inhabited by cloistered monks and traces of that episode are almost imperceptible.

Alexander Cesarco

In addition, the Vitoria museum presents the exhibition Alejandro Cesarco. Other recent examples (Room A1, until September 24, 2023). It brings together works by Alejandro Cesarco (Montevideo, Uruguay, 1975) in different supports -photographs, videos and pieces made from text- “that propose a reflection on the construction and learning experience, and those processes linked to memory , perception and language”.
