Elkar, EHZ and Antxeta Irratia launch the Paradisu Zinema musical scholarship

With the musician Iñigo Muguruza in memory, the Elkar publishing house, EHZ Festibala and the Antxeta Irratia radio have presented the first edition of the musical scholarship Paradise Zinemawhich “will support and promote the work of musicians and female musicians”.
Original compositions in Basque may be presented, and a jury will be in charge of awarding a grant of 10,000 euros to record an album and publish it under the Elkar label.
The participants will have to send their personal information, a summary of their project (1-3 pages) and a recording of two of the at least ten songs that would make up the album before June 30 to the following address: paradisuzinemabeka@elkar .eus
The endowment is 10,000 euros that would be distributed 50% in study hours in Elkar and the remaining 50% in manufacturing and promotion costs, and, in addition, the winning project will perform in the 2024 edition of the EHZ festival.
