We are talking about the American-British spy production “King’s Man: The First Mission”. According to the artist, he was really close to taking part in the next part of the popular series. As he admits, “he had already had a number of talks” with producers, and even refused other roles in Polish films and plays. However, he learned that he would not play in the spy hit thanks to a hunch.
– I realized that no one asks me for my shoe size, and there is this “s*** contract”, everything has to be signed in sixty copies. – he admitted – I thought: “People, something is happening here, something needs to be done” – he emphasized. Unfortunately, Cat’s hunch was right. After phone calls from his agents, he was told “sorry” by the producers. – I guess they were stupid – the artist.

Although the actor really wanted to take part in the next part of “King’s Man”, he admitted that participation in American productions is not his overriding goal. Although in the past he refused roles in domestic films, counting on involvement in Hollywood blockbusters, today he considers this career path an adventure. “I finally thought I’d done my job and I’m not tensing up anymore,” he said.
What’s more, the actor also commented on the role of Poles in foreign productions, especially those from behind the great waters. He was quite brutal in his description. He said that artists from our country are not necessary for the Hollywood industry. They rather play the role of a curiosity or a simple whim of the producers or the director.
