Independent cinema triumphs again at the Oscars, which leave Spielberg empty-handed. ‘Everything at once everywhere’ won seven ‘statues’, although he couldn’t snatch the ‘Best Actor’ award from Bredn Fraser for his role in ‘The Whale’. The other big winner of the night was the German ‘All Quiet on the Front’.
Almost two months ago the Hollywood Academy announced all the nominees for this edition of the Oscars, the most prestigious film awards ceremony of the year.
