Jolanta and Zbigniew Buczkowski have been a harmonious marriage for 42 years. The man more than once described his partner as a feminine ideal. Few people realize that if it wasn’t for the actor’s mother, he would never have met the love of his life.

In the early 1980s, Zbigniew Buczkowski played in such productions as Miś, Wizja Lokalna 1901 or Far from the Road. The actor was on the verge of becoming a nationally known star. Despite this, not much has happened in his love life. 30-year-old artist never fell in love enough to think about living with – Back then, a thirty-year-old man who had no wife was either suspicious or extremely ugly. Old bachelor wasn’t the nicest word for a man – the actor himself.

Although Zbigniew Buczkowski did not care about love affairs, his mother decided that she would not let her son become an old bachelor. The woman decided to set him up with the niece of her good friend. Initially, both parents accompanied the young on a date. However, as soon as they left the “Mozaika” cafe, the married couple felt mint for each other. Jolanta was a talented computer programmer, which was quite an unusual profession in those days. Buczkowski recalls that he immediately fell into compote like a plum. He began to “combine to put a wedding ring on her finger as soon as possible”.

The couple got married in 1981. When asked about the recipe for a successful marriage, Zbigniew Buczkowski admits that there were also moments and falls in their relationship. According to her, the key to happiness in living together is to constantly try to be better. As he admits, their relationship is largely due to Jolanta. – The success of our marriage is due to my wife, her life wisdom and great tolerance – said the artist.

Zbigniew Buczkowski also encourages couples to travel together. Traveling became a key point in his marriage. Together with Jolanta, they have visited many countries and are planning more trips in the future. Although initially Jolanta’s aunt warned her against marrying an actor, the couple still draws handfuls of life. – It is thanks to her that my life has meaning and my dreams come true.
