The Ministry of Health has announced changes in the registration of clinics, clinics and hospitals on the National Health Fund. They are working on a project that would ultimately speed up admissions to , significantly streamlining the enrollment process. What will change and how will it be possible to sign up for a visit?
What will the changes concern? The new rules could come into force later this year
In mid-December, a draft was published in the list of legislative works of the Council of Ministers, which has the current system of “queuing” benefits. The changes aim to ensure that all facilities have one common waiting list. Thanks to this, patients will be able to use the help of specialists faster without creating “artificial” queues in each facility.
A central system of applications for benefits and a central waiting queue will be created. Instead of several lists coming from different institutions, one common, centralized one will be created. Thanks to this, the way in which we sign up for a clinic, clinic or hospital on the National Health Fund will also change.
How will it be possible to sign up for a clinic, hospital or clinic? Three possible ways are planned
At the beginning, central e-registration is to apply only to selected benefits. Registration for the remaining ones will take place on the same terms as before. The ministry announces that the catalog of the scope of benefits will be gradually expanded. Ultimately, it is planned that the new system will cover all healthcare services. How will it be possible to register using e-registration?
- Directly at the facility (in person or via telephone or electronic contact).
- Using the Patient’s Internet Account.
- Using a dedicated helpline that will be created for the needs of the new system.
