Michael Jackson’s nephew Jaafar Jackson to play ‘King of Pop’ in biopic

The production company Lionsgate announces the next biographical film Michaelcentered on the King of Pop, MIchael Jackson. In the main role will be the young Jaafar Jackson, the artist’s nephew, confirmed the director, Antoine Fuqua.

“It is with humility and honor to bring to life the story of my Uncle Michael. To the fans all over the world, I will see you soon, ”Jaafar wrote in his first Instagram post, in which he appears characterized as his famous relative, in the middle of a choreographic practice.

Those responsible for the production are Graham King, an expert in bringing biographies to the screen and winner of an Oscar for Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen story), plus John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of Michael Jackson’s estate. Michael Jackson, winner of 13 Grammy Awards, was already a star in his childhood with the Jackson 5 family group.
