“Temptation” presents a story based on facts. Attractive and ambitious Inez (Helena Englert) has always dreamed of becoming a journalist. When she gets a job at a popular website that follows the lives of sports and screen stars, it seems to her that the big world is at her fingertips. However, she does not expect how far it differs from her imagination and how dangerous it can be for a young, inexperienced woman.
The sad experiences of Helena Englert
One of the most difficult scenes in the movie is when Inez is raped after someone gave her a rape drug. It must have been extremely difficult for Helena Englert to play this, because it turned out that the young actress faced a similar situation in real life. The director of the film, Maria Sadowska, told about the details of this situation in an interview with “Super Express”:
This happened to Helena. In fact, someone put something in her drink. Fortunately, nothing happened to her, her friends saved her and took care of her. She knew very well how to play it because she really lived it
Temptation is a film adaptation of Edyta Folwarska’s book, which she wrote based on her own experiences. The writer also co-wrote the screenplay. “Super Express” learned that when the actress was looking for the main role in “Pokus”, no one knew about a similar and dangerous situation in the life of Helena Englert.
Maria Sadowska also revealed in an interview with the tabloid that despite the fact that she has been touring for years, she has never experienced a similar story:
I guess I was lucky because I never came across it myself
