Make a large cardboard coffin for Halloween
What do you need?
- 3 medium boxes
- 2 bigger and wider boxes
- Hot glue and glue gun
- Rule
- Pencil
- a wooden toothpick
- Scotch tape
- Stapler
- Black glossy paper or black garbage bag
- red velvet paper
- Decorative ribbon and flowers

Process
- First, open the boxes up flat, then place one of the large boxes on the floor to be the base.
- Take the three medium boxes and glue them by the tabs of the boxes on the sides to make them the walls of the coffin.
- With a pencil and a ruler you will mark the front end of the coffin and then cut it out. You take all the points and stick it to the boxes that make up the wall.
- For the top or lid, take the other large box, stretch it and then cut it in the shape of the coffin.
- Excess sides are trimmed off and then the tabs of the wall boxes are stapled to the base and then the lid. Remember, if you want your coffin to open, you need to poke the tabs on one side, just like when gluing the lid on.
- Cover the coffin on the inside with red velvet paper and to line it, use black glossy paper on the outside, glue everything with silicone.
- Finally, decorate your coffin with the ribbons on the sides and the flowers.
