Today it was made known through a supreme resolution that Felicísimo Rómulo Antúnez Antúnez was appointed to the position of Vice Minister of Development of Family Agriculture and Agricultural Infrastructure and Irrigation from the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, replacing Juan Rodo Altamirano Quispe, who was thanked for the services provided.
Felicísimo Antúnez Antúnez is an agricultural engineer, graduated from the Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo National University. He has held positions as manager of the Provincial Municipality of Carhuaz, head of the formulation unit of the Sierra Azul Fund and manager of the Provincial Municipality of San Román (Puno), according to AgroPerú.
He also has a master’s degree in Management of Social Programs and Projects from the Cayetano Heredia University.and in Water Resources Management from the Pontificia Universidad Católica, as well as a specialist in Decentralized Public Management from the same university, among others.

According to regional press reports, Mr. Antúnez has been accused of having improperly appropriated more than S/97,000 from the Asociación Civil Fondo Magistral Social, which has as associates the rural communities and towns of the Ancashino districts of Pampas and Conchucos, and the mining company Milpo SA, with whose contributions development projects are financed in the area of influence of the mining project.
